We are glad to announce the third edition of the AAMAS Competition track at AAMAS 2026.<\/span><\/p>\n Competitions are an effective mechanism for motivating researchers to enhance discussions, share knowledge, and boost the development and evaluation of theory and practice of autonomous agents and multiagent systems. By proposing challenging competitions to the AAMAS community, competition proposers contribute to pushing the state-of-the-art in specific areas or to solving problems of practical importance.<\/span><\/p>\n We invite competition proposals on topics of interest to the AAMAS community. We encourage submissions from emerging areas or novel application scenarios relevant to the AAMAS community. Submissions from established areas for which the competition may serve as a stimulus to advance theory and practice or renew the interest of young researchers in the area are also welcome. We highly value interdisciplinary topics that have the potential to attract a significant cross-section of the community.<\/span><\/p>\n If the accepted competition involves the development of tools and platforms for supporting agent development, the proposer(s) will be encouraged to submit a Demonstration paper at AAMAS 2027 summarizing the design, development, and outcomes of their competition at the 2026 conference.<\/span><\/p>\n At least one proposer of each accepted competition is required to register and attend the conference to run the finals of the competition and\/or to announce the winners.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n All deadlines are at the end of the specified day, Anywhere on Earth (UTC-12).<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/strong><\/p>\n Competition proposals should be 2 to 4 pages in length and must be electronically submitted before the submission deadline through OpenReview:<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n [\/et_pb_text][et_pb_button button_url=”https:\/\/openreview.net\/group?id=ifaamas.org\/AAMAS\/2026\/Competition#tab-recent-activity” url_new_window=”on” button_text=”Competition Proposal: Submission” _builder_version=”4.27.4″ _module_preset=”default” custom_button=”on” button_use_icon=”off” global_colors_info=”{}”][\/et_pb_button][et_pb_text disabled_on=”off|off|off” _builder_version=”4.27.4″ header_3_text_color=”#6c6866″ global_colors_info=”{}”]<\/p>\n A competition proposal should include the following elements:<\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n The submission and selection processes for the competition proposals will be separate from the main conference.
