The topics of the Special Sessions should be at the frontiers of academic research or cover important applications in the domain of computer vision and pattern recognition. Each proposal will be assessed for its scientific content, structure and relevance. \u00a0Proposals should encourage discussion and interaction between the participants, achievable in different ways, e.g., through presentations of submitted work and panel discussions.<\/p>\n<h3>Important Dates<\/h3>\n<p>Special Session\u00a0proposal submission deadline:\u00a0<strong>0<\/strong><strong>5<\/strong><strong> Ma<\/strong><strong>y<\/strong><strong> 2021<\/strong><br \/> Special Session\u00a0acceptance notification deadline:\u00a0<strong>1<\/strong><strong>0<\/strong><strong> Ma<\/strong><strong>y<\/strong><strong> 2021<\/strong><\/p>\n<h3>Guideline for submitting proposals<\/h3>\n<p>To propose a CAIP 2021 Special Session, you only need to send a PDF document to the CAIP Organizing Committee that includes the following contents:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Name of the Special Session<\/li>\n<li>Name and contact information of the main organizers<\/li>\n<li>Brief description of the scope and target audience.
