Deadline May 15th<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n Dear ECVP attendees,<\/p>\n Now that you have registered for this year\u2019s ECVP conference, please consider submitting a an illusion or demo to our Illusion & Demo Night taking place on Tuesday, August 28th from approximately 18:30 onwards. In this event we aim to offer interesting demonstrations on both old and new visual phenomena in a celebration of vision science.<\/p>\n The Illusion & Demo Night will take place at the venue hotel.\u00a0<\/p>\n We welcome demonstrations of any visual phenomenon or other demo interesting for the general public, novel or classic, as this event will also be open to the general public. So, inspire your colleagues with new effects, virtual or physical, or wow and educate the public with beautiful classic illusions that may spark their enthusiasm for vision science!<\/p>\n Each demo presenter is responsible for bringing their equipment and setting-up their own demos (this can be done in the afternoon before the opening), and clearing it at the end of the event. The organizing committee will provide tables, electrical outlets, and poster boards. Special requests (e.g., projectors, big flat screens, theatrical lighting) will be dealt with independently for each submission, and we will do our best to accommodate them.
