<\/a>\n\t\t\t<\/div><\/figure><\/a>\n\t\t\t<\/div><\/figure>\n\t\t<\/div>\nThe Welcome Cocktail of the conference will be held at the Ancient Amphitheatre of Kourion<\/strong>, one of the most spectacular archaeological sites on the island, carved on the side of a cliff with commanding views of the Mediterranean Sea. We will be transferred from the main Conference hotel (Amathus Beach Hotel) in air-conditioned coaches. Upon arrival, we will be taken through the ancient site by experienced guides. We will then enjoy a cocktail overlooking the amphitheatre and the sea.<\/p>\n We will then proceed to the Amphitheatre where the Cyprus Symphony Orchestra<\/strong> will perform their concert. The music programme will be divided into two parts of approximately 30 minutes each. The first part will include classical works by Cypriot and Greek composers, Rossini and other famous composers. The Cypriot soprano Aliki Chrysochou, accompanied by the Cyprus Symphony Orchestra, will sing songs from famous plays\/films for the second part.<\/p>\n Dress code: Smart casual*<\/p>\n *Note – the temperature will drop as the sun sets, so a light jacket or shawl should be brought along.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n [hr style=”1″ margin=”30px 0px 30px 0px”]<\/p>\n [whitespace height=”20″]<\/p>\n ‘The Very Best of Cypriot Cuisine’ Gala Dinner will be held on the lawns of the Amathus Beach Hotel, overlooking the sea. \u00a0A sumptuous buffet of traditional and modern Cypriot dishes will be offered, cooked to perfection by the experienced chefs of one of the best hotels on the island. Live Jazz music will accompany the dinner, until eventually the experienced DJ will take over and the event will transform into a festive beach party.<\/p>\n Dress code: Smart (not necessarily black tie)*<\/p>\n *Note – As the Gala Dinner will take place on the lawn, ladies are advised not to wear stiletto type shoes.
