The conference provides an opportunity for educators and researchers to reflect upon the goals and objectives of this subject matter, its curricula, various teaching and learning paradigms and topics, as well as the connections to everyday life — including the various ways of developing Informatics Education in schools.<\/p>\n The conference focuses on educational goals and objectives of Informatics or Computer Science as a subject matter in primary, secondary and vocational education and their different realisation in compulsory and voluntary courses.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n |<\/span> <\/span><\/strong>P R O C E E D I N G S \u00a0 G U I D E L I N E S |<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n To prepare paper for LNCS proceedings authors<\/strong> should consult Springer\u2019s authors\u2019 guideline<\/a>s<\/span> (ftp:\/\/ftp.springernature.com\/cs-proceeding\/svproc\/guidelines\/Springer_Guidelines_for_Authors_of_Proceedings.pdf<\/a><\/span>) and use their proceedings templates, either for LaTeX<\/a> (ftp:\/\/ftp.springernature.com\/cs-proceeding\/llncs\/llncs2e.zip<\/a><\/span>) or for Word<\/a><\/span> (ftp:\/\/ftp.springernature.com\/cs-proceeding\/llncs\/word\/splnproc1703.zip<\/span><\/a>), for the preparation of their papers.\u00a0 Springer encourages authors to include their ORCID in their papers. In addition, the corresponding author of each paper, acting on behalf of all of the authors of the paper, must complete and sign a Consent-to-Publish form<\/a><\/span>. The corresponding author signing the copyright form should match the corresponding author marked on the paper. All papers will be peer reviewed and comments will be provided to the authors.<\/p>\n There are three different submission categories:<\/p>\n Submissions must be formatted according to the Springer LNCS style guidelines\u00a0 using LaTeX. The maximum length of the paper (including references, but excluding the optional appendix) is 12 pages. For online Latex editors, see e.g. Overleaf<\/span><\/a> <\/span>and ShareLatex<\/a><\/span>. Abstract lenght \u2014 200-300 words.<\/p>\n Submissions are reviewed using a double-blind process. Authors should leave their names and affiliations blank in the articles submitted for review, and take care to avoid details in the article that could be used to identify the authors. These include institution information, specific funding information and clear self-citations.<\/p>\n When using the LNCS style, do not change the margin size or the font, do not make a separate title page, etc.: use the LNCS style file as given. However, please do add page numbers, which can be done, for example, by adding \\pagestyle{plain}<\/span> just before \\begin{document}.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n Accepted papers will be included in the ISSEP 2019 local proceedings. Selected top quality papers will be published in the Springer Lecture Notes in Computer Science (LNCS) series.
