Information for Authors

Information for Authors

The PRIME 2024 Call For Papers is available for download. The working language for the conference is English, which will be used for all presentations and printed material.

Any author can submit an unlimited number of papers, but the same speaker cannot present more than two papers.

The first author/presenter of each paper must be either a PhD student, a Master’s student or a Bachelor’s student; by PhD student we mean a student who is currently working toward his/her PhD thesis or who has discussed his/her PhD thesis whithin one year in advance of the paper submission deadline.

The maximum number of authors per paper is five (the student, the advisor and no more than three co-workers).

Paper Preparation and Submission

  • Paper Length: The maximum number of accepted pages is 4, including all figures, tables and references.
  • Paper Size: Only US Letter (8.5″ x 11″) or A4 (210mm x 297mm) formats are allowed.
  • Paper Format: Authors should prepare the manuscript according to the IEEE double column conference paper template style.
  • File Size: The size of the PDF files submitted should not exceed 2.0 MB.

Reviewing Process

Papers submitted for review must clearly state:

  • the purpose of the work
  • how and to what extent it advances the state-of-the-art
  • specific new results and their impact

The degree to which the paper deals with these issues will affect whether the paper is selected. The most frequent cause of rejection of submitted papers is lack of new results. Only work that has not been previously published at the time of the conference will be considered.

Submission of a paper for review and subsequent acceptance is considered by the Committee as an agreement that the work will not be placed in the public domain prior to the conference. The quality of the conference will be guaranteed by a thoroughly selected Technical Program Committee, which will provide feedback to the authors.

Awards

Based on the reviewers’ and the awards-committee’s evaluation top 30% papers will be awarded as follows:

GOLD LEAF Certificate for the top 10% papers

SILVER LEAF Certificate for papers between top 10% and top 20%

BRONZE LEAF Certificate for papers between top 20% and top 30%

Plagiarism and excessive re-use of earlier material

Papers submitted for PRIME 2024 will be checked for plagiarism and improper re-use of authors’ earlier material using IEEE CrossCheck.

Ethical policy

PRIME 2024 follows IEEE ethical guidelines and policies in terms of non-discrimination and privacy

    PDF eXpress check and certification

It is required that all PDF submissions be IEEE Xplore compliant. If your file does not meet Xplore compliance it will not be published. To meet this requirement, you must FIRST check to ensure that your PDF file is compliant by using the IEEE PDF eXpress system BEFORE you submit your paper to the conference final submission web site.

    1. Go to IEEE PDF eXpress.
    2. Use this conference ID:61930X
    3. Use PDF eXpress to check or create your PDF file.
    4. Once you have a GOOD PDF file, return to PRIME 2024 final submission website (EasyAcademia) and upload your final submission.

NOTE: checking your PDF file for compliance and submitting your final paper for publication are two separate procedures. After using the IEEE PDF eXpress system for file compliance, MAKE SURE to return to the PRIME 2024 final submission web site and upload your compliant final submission.
