He is also involved in promoting the transfer and adaptation of marine algae cultivation technologies to support ecological restoration initiatives along the Romanian Black Sea coast, particularly the recovery of underwater macroalgal forests and seagrass meadows that have been severely degraded in recent years as a result of human pressures.
