During the period\u00a02000-2002\u00a0he was appointed as a postdoctoral research fellow at the DSP & Telecommunications group of Imperial College where he led the development of advanced DSP processes for\u00a0biometric\u00a0security applications. He also worked for\u00a0DERA\u00a0and QinetiQ as a consultant and researcher in defense telecommunication contracts before returning to Cyprus and establishing SignalGeneriX.<\/p>\n SignalGeneriX\u00a0scientific\u00a0work has been acknowledge with various prestigious National and International Innovation awards. The company has recently won the European Satellite Navigation Competition Award (ESNC) for its localisation technologies, named as National Champion in Innovation by the European Business Awards 2016 and 2017, won the prestigious Lloyds List Global Innovation Award 2014 and the Cyprus Innovation Award in 2013.
