Initial submissions<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\n

Authors are invited to submit their original work that has not previously been submitted or published in any other venue. Each paper length should not exceed 6 pages. All papers need to be in IEEE CS format<\/a> and submitted via the dedicated EasyAcademia page: https:\/\/www.easyacademia.org\/smap2023<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

* At its February 2023 meeting the IEEE Publication Services and Products Board passed the following motion, to be used as initial guidance by IEEE Publications:<\/p>\n

\u201cThe use of artificial intelligence (AI)\u2013generated text in an article shall be disclosed in the acknowledgements section of any paper submitted to an IEEE Conference or Periodical. The sections of the paper that use AI-generated text shall have a citation to the AI system used to generate the text.\u201d<\/p>\n

Effective immediately, Editors-in-Chief should take steps to ensure that relevant author-facing communications, such as author instructions on the sponsoring Society\/council website, are updated and editors and reviewers are aware of the guidance.<\/p>\n
