MoCS 2015
IEEE International Workshop on Management of Cloud and Smart city systems
Luca Foschini (luca.foschini@unibo.it)
The ambition and mission of MoCS 2015 is to put on the foreground all the issues about management of cloud and Smart City systems at different layer of abstractions, and to bring together different ongoing research efforts related to this field.
This year, special focus will be on the challenging management issues related to the delivery of efficient solutions for the processing of real-world Big Data in Smart Cities scenarios.
PEDISWESA 2015
6th IEEE International Workshop on Performance Evaluation of Communications in Distributed Systems and Web based Service Architectures
Lynda Mokdad (lynda.mokdad@univ-paris12.fr)
This workshop focuses on the performance evaluation of both distributed and mobile systems, as well as Web based services architectures using both analytical methods and simulation studies. Authors are encouraged to submit full papers presenting new research related to QoS and communication performance evaluation of these systems. Submitted papers must not have been published elsewhere nor currently be under review by another conference or journal.
SCUCA 2015
3rd IEEE International Workshop on Smart City and Ubiquitous Computing Applications
Lambros Lambrinos (lambros.lambrinos@cut.ac.cy) and Chrysostomos Chrysostomou (ch.chrysostomou@frederick.ac.cy)
The SCUCA Workshop will address the related issues to Smart Cities by examining new technological developments, under the context of ubiquitous computing and smart environments, in the general areas of: Machine-to-Machine (M2M) and Mobile Communications, IoT architectures, data storage and handling, security and privacy, reliability and fault tolerance, risk analysis and service business models.
DMSS 2015
2nd IEEE International Workshop on Distributed Mobile Systems & Services
Khalid Elgazzar (k.a.elgazzar@gmail.com)
The scope of DMSS Workshop will extend beyond traditional cloud and mobile computing technologies to encompass emerging distributed cloud technologies and networking infrastructures.
For example, federated mobile clouds, information-centric networking architectures, mobile service platforms based on Web OS, HTML5, mobile crowdsourcing and crowdsensing approaches, resource allocations, privacy and security techniques in mobile communications, etc.
2nd IEEE International Workshop on A 5G Wireless Odyssey:2020
Shahid Mumtaz (smumtaz@av.it.pt)
The "A 5G Wireless Odyssey:2020" Workshop, inspired by the GREEN-T research initiative will bring together academic and industrial stakeholders to identify and discuss technical challenges, as well a venue for disseminating innovative solutions towards meeting the 1000x challenge.
These technologies will encompass all aspects of the radio access network and applications: from wireless network infrastructure and topologies, to physical layer transmission techniques, including spectrum availability, channel modeling, device innovations and green radio.
SFCS 2015
3th IEEE International Workshopp on Security and Forensics in Communication Systems
Slim Rekhis (slim.rekhis@gmail.com)
The SFCS 2015 Workshop will bring together researchers, scientists, engineers and practitioners involved in research in the fields of communication systems security and forensics, to present their latest research findings, ideas, and developments.
The Workshop will act as a forum for discussing open issues, and presenting original and unpublished research results and innovative ideas in the realm of security and digital forensics.
