The PhD Conference

The University of Cyprus is delighted to host the 2nd International Space Syntax PhD Conference in June 2023 and thus to continue the debate among young academics, that has been initiated through the 1st Space Syntax PhD Conference. The conference, aims to bring together students from all over the world who are currently working on space syntax research to share knowledge, exchange ideas and get feedback for their work in progress. The SS2PhD conference is supported by Neapolis University Pafos.

PhD students will present their work online in different sessions throughout a whole day. The different sessions are developed based on different themes and are moderated either by a member of the committee or by another nominated expert in space syntax research. The conference presents a valuable opportunity for PhD students and early career researchers in the field of space syntax to present their on-going research and receive feedback from colleagues and experts in this field. It also offers an excellent opportunity for students to network with peers, gain important insights from other students’ work as well as to foster collaborations.

Registration for the Space Syntax PhD Conference will be free of charge. However, participants will have to be registered. Registration process information will be available here before the opening of the registration system.
