In addition to this letter, a supplementary confirmation of accommodation letter may be required for visa application. Airports

Cyprus is served by two International Airports; Larnaca International Airport (LCA), about 52 km (32.4 miles) from Nicosia, and Paphos International Airport (PFO), about 145 km (90.3 miles) from Nicosia. More than 50 International Airlines connect Cyprus to the whole world; for more details regarding flights to/from Cyprus, please visit the official website of both airports at www.hermesairports.com. Furthermore, domestic communication between both airports and all the major cities on the island is very quick and easy via an extensive highway system.

Aéroports

Public Transportation

Cyprus has a comprehensive public bus network, with extensive inner-city routes and also major city and airport connections. You can find more information at Cyprusbybus.com. If you require specific information, please click here and select your desired city.

Larnaca Airport to Nicosia

Option 1

Step 1: From Larnaca Airport use Kapnos Airport coaches (35 minutes approximately) in order to reach Nicosia city (Kyrenias Avenue). Please visit Kapnos Airport Shuttle webpage for more information and check timetable that matches your flight.

Step 2: Once in Nicosia (Kyrenias Avenue) use the Nicosia Public Buses to find a route to your accommodation hotel. Please visit their webpage (OSEL) or Cyprus By Bus webpage for routes and timetables.

Alternatively, you can get a taxi from Kyrenias Avenue to drop you off at your hotel.

Option 2

Step 1: Once you arrive at Larnaca Airport, you can use the Larnaca Bus Route 425 (Zinonas Buses) to get from Larnaca Airport to Finikoudes Station in the city. Please visit Zinonas Buses webpage for more details (Route).

Step 2: From Finikoudes Station use the Nicosia Intercity Bus to reach Nicosia. Please visit Intercity Buses webpage for more details.

Step 3: In Nicosia use the Nicosia Public Buses to find a route to your accommodation hotel. Please visit their webpage (OSEL) or Cyprus By Bus webpage for routes and timetables.

Alternatively, you can get a taxi to drop you off at your hotel.

Paphos Airport to Nicosia

Step 1: From Paphos Airport use the Kapnos Airport coaches (105 minutes approximately) in order to reach Nicosia city (Kyrenias Avenue). Please visit Kapnos Airport Shuttle webpage for more details.

Step 2: Once in Nicosia (Kyrenias Avenue) use the Nicosia Public Buses to find a route to your accommodation hotel. Please visit their webpage (OSEL) or Cyprus By Bus webpage for routes and timetables.

Private Taxi Transfers

Arrange for transfers by taxi through the conference coordinator, EasyConferences at an extra charge. These transfers are bookable online through www.easyconferences.org. These transfers can be private (max 3 persons) or shared, are inclusive of meet and assist, and the service is guaranteed.

Note: There will be a person waiting for you after Customs Formalities with a sign stating the conference name. If you have booked a taxi transfer via EasyConferences, you simply need to tell your name to the taxi driver, so that he can escort you to your taxi for your trip to your hotel.

Airport Taxis

Participants may get an airport taxi on arrival at the airport. Service is generally very good, but at times one may have to wait and prices may vary depending on the time of arrival.

Car rentals

Important: Driving in Cyprus is on the left-hand side of the road, and signs are in kilometers.

Participants may opt to hire a car during their stay, and thus use it for their airport transfers. Cars may be reserved through the conference coordinator, EasyConferences at special conference rates and are bookable online through www.easyconferences.org.

Note: On arrival please proceed to the booth of ‘Astra Car Rental’ company and the staff there (present 24/7) will be able to assist you. You do not need a voucher. Simply mention your name and provide them with your driving license.

The booth of ‘Astra Car Rental’ Company is located at:
i. Larnaca Airport: after you exit Custom Formalities, opposite you, slightly to the left.
ii. Paphos Airport: opposite you as soon as you exit Custom Formalities

Please note that the Car Hire Daily Rates are valid for 24 hours. Each daily rental period starts from the moment that the car is picked up and is valid for 24 hours after that. In case that a car is kept for a period exceeding 24 hours then the renter will be charged for an additional day.

Cars picked up from either Larnaca or Paphos airports in Cyprus are subject to an Airport Charge of 20 Euro to be paid locally.

Etape 1

Transferts par taxi

Vous pouvez organiser votre transfert par taxi par l'intermédiaire du coordinateur du colloque EasyConferences, avec des frais supplémentaires.
Ces transferts par taxi doivent être réservés en ligne par www.easyconferences.org.  Ces transferts peuvent être personnels ou partagés (maximum trois personnes), ils comprennent une assistance au point de rencontre, et la garantie du service.
Note : une personne vous attendra après les formalités de douane munie d'un panneau portant le titre du colloque. Si vous avez réservé un taxi par EasyConferences, vous devrez simplement indiquer votre nom au chauffeur de taxi, qui vous conduira ensuite jusqu'à votre hôtel.

Prendre un taxi à l'aéroport
Les participants peuvent aussi prendre un taxi à leur arrivée à l'aéroport. Le service est généralement très bon, mais il faut parfois attendre et les prix peuvent changer selon l'heure d'arrivée.

Location de voitures

Important : La conduite à Chypre se fait sur le côté gauche de la route ; les distances sont indiquées en kilomètres. 
Les participants peuvent choisir de louer une voiture pendant la durée de leur séjour, et l'utiliser pour les transferts de et vers l'aéroport. La réservation peut être effectuée par l'intermédiaire de EasyConferences à un tarif préférentiel et elles doivent être faites uniquement en ligne par www.easyconferences.org.
Note : A l'arrivée dans l'aéroport, adressez vous au comptoir 'Astra Car Rental', ouvert tous les jours 24h/24. Vous n'aurez pas besoin de voucher. Vous devrez seulement donner votre nom et présenter votre permis de conduire.
Le comptoir d' 'Astra Car Rental' est situé

• à l'aéroport de Larnaca : après la sortie des formalités de douane, en face de vous, un peu sur la gauche
• à l'aéroport de Paphos, après la sortie des formalités de douane, juste en face de vous.

Merci de noter que la location se fait par 24 heures : chaque jour de location commence à l'heure où vous prenez la voiture et est valide pendant 24h. Si la voiture est conservée plus de 24h, vous devrez payer une journée supplémentaire. Les voitures peuvent être prises soit à l'aéroport de Larnaca soit à celui de Paphos, et une taxe d'aéroport de 20 € doit être payée sur place.

• Banks in Cyprus open for the public from 08:30 to 13:30 midday, Monday to Friday. Certain banks in tourist areas open during the afternoon.
• All types of medication are available in well stocked pharmacies all over Cyprus. Depending on the medication, you may need a prescription from a doctor.
• Telephone: Country code is +357. Cyprus automatic telephone dialing system reaches 206 countries. Telecards can be purchased from Post Offices, kiosks and souvenir shops.
• There are two international airports in Cyprus, at Larnaca and Paphos.
• The two main ports are in Limassol (Lemesos) and Larnaca.
• Cyprus is a full member of the European Union.
