IMBSA 2027

The 11th International Symposium on Model-Based Safety Assessment (IMBSA 2027) will take place in Limassol, Cyprus, from 15 to 17 September 2027.

IMBSA is the leading international forum for model-based safety assessment, showcasing the latest advances in model-based engineering, formal methods, probabilistic analysis, optimisation techniques, and artificial intelligence. The symposium addresses some of the most challenging issues in the design of safe and secure complex systems, with a particular focus on software-intensive systems, autonomous cyber-physical systems, and systems operating under uncertainty.

The scientific programme covers state-of-the-art research and practical developments in technological safety, including systems with learned behaviour, systems of systems, and emerging approaches for managing complexity, unpredictability, and uncertainty.

The symposium provides a dedicated platform where researchers, industry experts, and practitioners come together to exchange ideas, present innovative tools and methodologies, share practical experiences, and strengthen collaboration within the international community. The programme will also feature two keynote presentations by internationally recognised experts in the field of safe intelligent systems.
