David Menier is a Professor in Marine Sedimentology and Geology. He is an expert in Seismic Sequence Stratigraphy, in Marine Sedimentology and Geology (both clastic and carbonate). His research focuses on the quaternary sedimentary fill from detailed process-oriented studies to large-scale work to explore how coastal and shelf systems respond to changes in quaternary relative sea level and climate. Using a combination of morphobathymetric studies, very high-resolution seismic, core sampling and dating to investigate the latest infilling stage, related to the last sea-level fluctuations and impact of climate change on the marine recent sedimentary cover and interlinks with water column.
