Exhibition Area
Day 1 focuses on strengthening the science–policy interface, bringing together EU institutions, Member States, research actors, and international stakeholders to contribute to the evolving European Ocean Strategy and Ocean Act framework.
An exhibition area will be organised throughout Day 1 to foster interaction, knowledge exchange, and networking.
Objectives of the Exhibition Area
The exhibition aims to:

- Provide visibility to projects and organisations active in ocean and water-related domains
- Highlight science-to-policy pathways
- Showcase EU and international cooperation
- Support dialogue between research, governance, and implementation actors
- Facilitate networking among conference participants

Who May Apply
The call is open to:

- EU-funded projects (Horizon Europe, Mission Ocean, Interreg, LIFE, EMFAF, etc.)
- Coordination and Support Actions
- Research infrastructures
- Public bodies and agencies
- Innovation clusters
- International and non-EU collaborative initiatives
- International organisations
No explicit thematic prioritisation is pre-defined. The organisers may apply thematic balance criteria after reviewing submissions.
Format of the Exhibition
The exhibition area will be:

- Located indoors
- Positioned within the main circulation and networking space
- Accessible throughout the entire Day 1 programme
Each selected exhibitor will be provided with:

- Dedicated space for banners / roll-ups
- High coffee table and chairs
- Access to electricity (upon request)
- Optional screen (upon request)
Exhibitors are responsible for:

- Transport and installation of materials
- On-site staffing of their space
Local printing can be facilitated by organisers if required.
Participation is free of charge.
Selection Process
Selection will be based on:

- Relevance to conference themes
- Strategic alignment with EU ocean and water priorities
- Contribution to science-to-policy dialogue
- Overall thematic balance
The number of exhibitors will depend on venue capacity.
