Dilya Bakhtieva is an economist at the European Commission since 2011, with extensive experience in analysis, impact assessment and evaluation across diverse policy areas. She currently works on the design and implementation of policies supporting investment and entrepreneurship in the blue economy within the Unit for Maritime Innovation, Marine Knowledge and Investment (DG Maritime Affairs and Fisheries). She holds MA and PhD in Economics, as well as a degree in Mathematical Methods in Economics.
