Dr Kyriacos Themistocleous is a specialist in Earth observation, remote sensing, and maritime and environmental monitoring, with over 20 years of experience in research, academia, industry, and policy. He is Director of External Affairs and Business Development at the Eratosthenes Centre of Excellence and Project Manager of the EU H2020 EXCELSIOR project in Cyprus. He represents Cyprus in the European Commission’s Copernicus Programme and has published widely in remote sensing and related fields. His work applies Earth observation to maritime monitoring, environmental management, climate resilience, and cultural heritage.
