Call for Papers

The 62nd international Universities Power Engineering Conference (UPEC2027) aims to address the vast technological changes in areas of power system design, operation, and planning. Continuing the long tradition of the conference to focus on important issues concerning power system and energy challenges, topics include AI and digitalisation in energy systems, smart grid technologies, energy communities, DC Systems, E-Mobility, renewable energy, low-carbon buildings, and energy policy. A detailed list of topics is provided in the call for papers.

UPEC2027 will provide a forum for in-depth, solution-oriented discussion, leading to networking and collaboration among researchers, policymakers, regional and local authorities, renewable energy clusters, and other main stakeholders in the energy transition.

The 62nd international UPEC conference is organized by FREDERICK UNIVERISITY and PHAETHON Centre of Excellence. The conference central theme is “Decarbonizing the Grid: Multi-Sector Synergies for Sustainable Energy Frontiers”.
