Submissions
HOW TO SUBMIT
The paper submission process for UPEC 2027 will be done through the EasyAcademia Platform. Please follow the steps below.
- Go to https://www.easyacademia.org/upec2027. If you have previously used the platform you can log in. If you have not used this platform before you will need to sign up (create new account).
- After creating a new account an activation link will be sent to the email address you have associated with your account. Please check your inbox to continue.
- Click the link in the activation email you have received to verify your email address. Once you do this you will be directed to your account dashboard.
- At the top right side of your dashboard you will see a “New Submission” button. Click on this to start a new submission.
- Transfer your copyright to IEEE.

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
Prospective authors are invited to submit a Full Paper up to 6 pages including figures, tables, and references.
Manuscripts should be prepared in accordance with the IEEE standard two column conference paper template available at the following weblink:
https://www.ieee.org/conferences/publishing/templates.html
All submitted papers must:
- Describe original results that have not been accepted or submitted for publication elsewhere.
- Be written in English and be submitted in PDF format.
- Contain author names, affiliations, and email addresses.
- Be submitted in A4 paper size format.
- Be submitted via the conference system in EasyAcademia.
The UPEC 2027 full paper submission deadline is TBA. Authors will be advised via email of acceptance of their paper by TBA. If revisions are required, authors will be notified, and the final version must be submitted by TBA by considering reviewer’s comments.
Submissions not conforming to the required format, exceeding the submission page limits, or being out of the scope of the conference, will be rejected without review. Moreover, authors are expected to comply with the IEEE policy regarding plagiarism.
Before uploading your final version make sure that a copyright notice appears at the bottom footer of the FIRST page of your paper, by replacing the existing text from the template “XXX-X-XXXX-XXXX-X/XX/$XX.00 ©20XX IEEE” with the correct copyright text from the options below:
- For papers in which all authors are employed by the US government, the copyright notice is: U.S. Government work not protected by U.S. copyright
- For papers in which all authors are employed by a Crown government (UK, Canada, and Australia), the copyright notice is:979-8-3315-5114-8/27/$31.00 ©2027 Crown
- For papers in which all authors are employed by the European Union, the copyright notice is: 979-8-3315-5114-8/27/$31.00 ©2027 European Union
- For all other papers the copyright notice is: 979-8-3315-5114-8/27/$31.00 ©2027 IEEE
Make sure that your paper passes the IEEE PDF eXpress check.
Papers that are not compliant will not be published in IEEEXplore.
Log in to the IEEE PDF Express: https://ieee-pdf-express.org/Account/Login.
5.1. For first-time users:
A. Select the New Users – Click Here link.
B. Enter the following:
• 69286X for the Conference ID
• your email address
• a password
C. Continue to enter information as prompted.
An online confirmation will be displayed, and an email confirmation will be sent verifying your
account setup.
5.2. For returning users of PDF eXpress:
Enter 69286X for the Conference ID, your email address and existing password. Verify that your contact information is valid.
Press the “Create new title” button and follow the on-screen instructions.
You will receive an email confirmation that the file was submitted.
You will receive another email when the process is finished, and your PDF file is ready.
If you submitted source file(s): PDF eXpress will convert your source file(s) to PDF in accordance with the latest IEEE Xplore requirements. You will receive another email when your new PDF is available. Please note that this may take some time.
Save the generated file and submit the compliant PDF file to the EasyAcademia Platform.
