EARA-EADP-SRA Summer School

EADP-EARA-SRA Summer School is open for applications

The European Association for Developmental Psychology (EADP), the European Association for Research on Adolescence (EARA) and the Society for Research on Adolescence (SRA) are hosting a summer school focusing on research on adolescence. The summer school is a training ground for doctoral students interested in adolescent development.

The 2024 EADP- EARA-SRA Summer School will be held in Larnaca, Cyprus from September 21 to September 25, just before the EARA conference. Larnaca is a city on the southeast coast of Cyprus, on the Mediterranean Sea. The summer school will be directed by Lysanne te Brinke, Susan Branje, and Lisa Kiang. Senior Scholars participating this year will include (in alphabetical order): Christy Buchanan, Marlis Buchmann, Charissa Cheah, Steven Eggermont, Kostas Fanti, and Berna Güroğlu.

We invite doctoral students in any part of the world to apply. Eight applicants from each organisation will be selected (a total of 24 across SRA, EADP, and EARA). Students who apply should have their doctoral research planned or underway, but not completed, so that they can benefit from the critiques given during the school. Students will have to cover their own travel costs, while accommodation from September 21st to September 25th (4 nights) and meals are paid for by the Summer School.

To apply, please email your curriculum vitae, a short description of your dissertation and progress so far, and a recommendation letter from your supervisor, to EARAdolescence@gmail.com, before March 31.
