Call for Abstracts
Abstract submission is now open for the 11th EuroGOOS International Conference, to take place in Larnaka, Cyprus, from 18 to 20 May 2026.
Abstract Submission Guidelines:
- Abstracts (maximum 500 words, 3-5 keywords) should address one of the conference priorities and topics detailed in this announcement and should be submitted via the Conference website.
- Abstracts may be submitted for oral or poster presentation. The Programme Committee reserves the right to approve the abstract and allocate it to the oral or poster sessions.
Conference Proceedings:
Upon approval of your abstract, you will receive an invitation to submit the full paper for the Conference Proceedings:
- Oral presentation: 5 pages
- Poster presentation: 3 pages
Key Dates:
- Abstract submission deadline: 20 November 27 November 2025 (23:59 CET).
- Notification of abstract acceptance: 28 January 2026
- Conference registration opening: soon
- Early-bird registration fee: 350€ (until 20 February 2026)
- Full registration fee: 425€ (from 21 February 2026)
- Deadline for full paper submission: 30 March 30 April 2026
- Book of Abstracts will be released on 30 March 2026 on the Conference website.
Support for Early Career Ocean Professionals (ECOPs):
- ECOPs will have the opportunity to apply for 10 free conference registrations.
- Please note that travel and accommodation support is not provided.
