The opening ceremony of Eurographics Conference 2024 witnessed the celebration of outstanding achievements in the field: Thomas Muller and Justus Thies were honored with the “Young Researcher Award,” while Christian Hafner and Philipp Henzler received the prestigious “PhD Award.” Daniel Cohen-Or and Markus Gross were recognized with the Gold Medal for their exceptional contributions, while Anat Levin received the “Outstanding Technical Contributions Award,” and George Drettakis was bestowed with the esteemed “Distinguished Career Award.”
Beyond the academic program, attendees have the opportunity to experience Cypriot Hospitality through a reception party and optional excursions, including the CYENS opening ceremony.
The Eurographics Association is a leading international organization dedicated to advancing computer graphics and interactive techniques. It supports research, education, and collaboration in the field, hosting conferences, workshops, and publishing high-quality research papers.
