One of the most anticipated 2024 conferences took place from October 21 to 23, 2024. Paris hosted the 20th edition of the International Conference on Wireless and Mobile Computing, Networking, and Communications (WiMob 2024) at the  Conservatoire National des Arts et Métiers (CNAM) . Known for its historic architecture and dedication to science and technology, CNAM provided an inspiring setting for this prestigious annual event.

Therefore, WiMob 2024 brought together over 130 researchers, developers, and practitioners from 29 countries, including Peru, South Korea, and Brazil. Renowned as one of the most respected forums in the field, WiMob has a strict 32% acceptance rate, underscoring its commitment to high-quality research. This year’s conference focused on critical topics such as 5G, IoT, Cybersecurity, and the application of Artificial Intelligence in wireless and mobile networks.

The conference featured three distinguished keynote speakers who addressed pivotal advancements: Dr. Abbas Jamalipour from the University of Sydney discussed securing data transmission in cell-free IoT networks; Dr. Venkatesh Ramaswamy of MITRE Labs explored the integration of automation and AI in paving the road to 6G; and Dr. Richard Li from Southeast University examined ubiquitous networks, highlighting the challenges, trends, and protocols shaping the future.
