Rym Benzina, a graduate of the School of Art and Decoration of Tunis, combines a career in marketing, entrepreneurship and ocean advocacy. She served as Marketing Director at Business & Decision MEA (2005), became president of Get’IT (Economic Interest Group, 2015) and founded the digital marketing agency Image & Actions (2018). In 2019 she joined Smart Tunisia as Associate Program Manager.

Active in the entrepreneurial ecosystem, she sits on the executive board of Réseau Entreprendre Tunisie and is a member of French Tech Tunisie. Concerned with sustainable coastal management, she co-founded La Saison Bleue (2018) and became its president in 2020. She also serves as Director of the Forum Mondial de la Mer – Bizerte (Tunisia). In 2023 she launched the Blue Africa Summit in Tangier (Morocco) in collaboration with the Royal Academy of Morocco, to promote a sustainable blue economy for Africa.

In 2025 she co-organized Women Actions for the Ocean (WAO),which highlights the role of women, their concrete actions and innovative solutions to climate change and the loss of marine biodiversity. In the same year, she launched the “”Africa Blue Compass”” pact during the UN Ocean Conference 3 in June 2025. She also created “”La Grande Marée”, an annual large-scale maritime festival in Paris open to the public.
