Demo submission is closed!

The 28th International Conference on Artificial Reality and Telexistence (ICAT 2018), joined with the 23rd Eurographics Symposium on Virtual Environments (EGVE 2018), invites the submission of proposals for live demonstrations.

ICAT-EGVE 2018 offers the opportunity to showcase interesting and innovative applications in the fields of Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality, Mixed Reality, and 3D User Interfaces. Meanwhile, it provides a great platform to engage and exchange ideas and scientific findings with a wide audience, from both the research community and the general public.

Authors of accepted demos will have their demo descriptions published in the conference proceedings, and published and indexed by the EUROGRAPHICS digital library. The description has to follow the standard EUROGRAPHICS format (see below).

Your submission must include the following materials and information:

  • A 1-page (max) requirements description: provide a description of your demonstration setup, including space, size, electrical, networking, lighting, and sound requirements and any detail you think is important to make sure your demo will be successful. For example, mention if your demo is sensitive to the lighting/sound environment. You should also mention logistic issues (equipment to store before, during, and after the conference), time required to install and pack the demo, number of people required to set up and/or present the demonstration. Note that exhibitors are required to bring all necessary equipment and material for a successful demonstration. There is no official format for this document.

  • Supplementary materials like videos are welcome.
