The 3rd Pancyprian Conference on Chronic Pain, took place in European University Cyprus on April 12 and 13, 2024, showcased the latest evidence-based clinical practice, particularly in the areas of musculoskeletal pain and headaches.
The conference, supported by the Cyprus Nurses and Midwives Association and the Pan-Cypriot Association of Surgical Nurses, brought together more than 300 professionals and students in the field of medical services. Organized by the Cyprus Pain Clinic, and leading institutions including the University Of Cyprus, the University of Nicosia, the European University Cyprus, the Frederick University Cyprus, the Cyprus University of Technology , and the Nursing Services Education Division.
Twenty-seven distinguished speakers presented on a wide range of topics including pediatric cancer pain, pain and depression, Pain Medicine, headaches, and new horizons in migraine therapy, among others. The conference received sponsorship from major organizations including Medical Ware Ltd Golden Sponsor, Medtronic as the Silver Sponsor, and generous support from Delorbis Pharmaceuticals, Medochemie, Viatris, Pfizer, Aniva Pharma, and Healthcare by Costas Christodoulou.
Professional development and education were at the forefront, with attendees including professionals and students in the medical services field. The conference was accredited by both the Pan-Cypriot Medical Association and the Pan-Cypriot Association of Nurses and Midwives.
