Call for Papers
It is with great pleasure that we invite you to the 10th International Congress of the European Association for Forensic Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, Psychology and other involved professions (EFCAP 2026). The conference will be held in-person from Wednesday 27th to Friday 29th May 2026 at the St. Raphael Resort, in Limassol, Cyprus. The event is organized by the University of Cyprus in collaboration with the EFCAP Board.
EFCAP 2026 will provide an exceptional opportunity for professionals, researchers, and practitioners from around the world to share innovative findings, clinical practices, and policy developments in forensic child and adolescent mental health. The conference will feature a rich and diverse scientific program including keynote lectures, symposia, oral and poster sessions, and special workshops, highlighting the interdisciplinary and international character of the EFCAP community.
We are currently developing an inspiring and engaging scientific program that will reflect the wide range of perspectives and expertise represented within our field. To make this possible, we warmly invite you to contribute to the scientific program by submitting your work. Submissions are welcome for oral presentations, symposia and posters. Detailed submission guidelines and practical information regarding the venue, accommodation, and registration can be found on the conference website.

How to Submit
Submissions will be made using the EasyAcademia.org submission system. Before you start the submission process, please read through the submission guidelines below.
- Create an “EasyAcademia” account through www.easyacademia.org
- Activate your account by clicking on the activation link sent into your email account Note: Please check your Spam folder if you have not received the email within a few minutes
While visiting EasyAcademia.org, the preferred browsers are Firefox or Chrome. Internet Explorer or other browsers may have compatibility issues, which can prevent you from submitting.
Note: The submission and registration systems do not share account information.

Oral Presentation
Steps

Select Format: Oral Presentation.

In the Title step, please enter the appropriate information.

Paste or type your abstract into the designated box (maximum 200 words).

In the Keywords step, please enter at least two keywords.

Under Authors, provide the details for each author of the abstract.

At least one author must be marked as the Presenter, and there must be at least one Correspondent (an author may hold multiple roles). Note: Authors marked as Correspondents will receive all updates and information regarding the submission.

In the Summary step, review all submission details. If you wish to make changes, simply click on the relevant step on the left to return and edit.

If you are satisfied with the summary, click “Submit Now” to finalize the process.

Poster Presentation

At least one author must be marked as the Presenter, and there must be at least one Correspondent (an author may hold multiple roles). Note: Authors marked as Correspondents will receive all updates and information regarding the submission.

In the Summary step, review all submission details. If you wish to make changes, simply click on the relevant step on the left to return and edit.

If you are satisfied with the summary, click “Submit Now” to finalize the process.

Symposium Overview
Steps
- Please click “Start a new submission” at the top right to begin the submission process.
- Select Format: Symposium Overview.
- In the Title step, please enter the appropriate information.
- Paste or type a brief overview of the symposium theme into the designated box (maximum 250 words).
- In the Keywords step, please enter at least two keywords.
- Under Contributors, provide the details for a chair, an optional discussant and for each presenter/author of the individual papers.
- At least one author must be marked as the Chair, and there must be at least one Correspondent (an author may hold multiple roles). Note: Authors marked as Correspondents will receive all updates and information regarding the submission.
- In the Summary step, review all submission details. If you wish to make changes, simply click on the relevant step on the left to return and edit.
- If you are satisfied with the summary, click “Submit Now” to finalize the process.
Following the submission of the symposium overview, the system will automatically email the authors marked as Presenters, providing each of them with a unique symposium code.
These authors must then submit their individual abstracts by following the instructions outlined below for Symposium Paper, making sure to use the symposium code provided by the system to correctly link their submission to the symposium.
Symposium Paper
Please submit your Symposium Paper only after you have received your symposium code. If you have not yet received the code, please contact your Symposium Chair to ensure it is provided to you before proceeding with the submission.
