Illusion & Demo Night Contributions

Dear Colleagues,

We invite you to apply your illusions and demonstrations related to any visual phenomenon or other exciting demos for the general public, as this event will be open to anyone interested.

The Illusion and Demo Night will take place at the hotel venue on Tuesday, August 28th, 2023, from 6:30 pm onwards. This event aims to present and educate the public with novel or classic effects related to vision science presented virtually or physically!

Required Information for Illusions and Demonstrations:

• Title
• Description and explanation for why people should see it (maximum 300 words)
• Names, affiliation, and contact information of the presenters
• Requests for equipment (e.g., projectors, big flat screens, theatrical lighting)

Important Dates:

Call for Illusions and Demos: 01st April, 2023 – 15th May, 2023

Illusions and Demos Acceptance Notification: 15th June, 2023

Notes

Each illusion and demo presenter is responsible for bringing their equipment, setting up their demos (this can be done in the afternoon before the opening), and clearing it at the end of the event.

The organizing committee will provide tables, electrical outlets, and poster boards. Please specify any special requests for your presentations in your application, and we will do our best to accommodate them.
