Ms Kalina Tchakarova is a partner with the Bulgarian law firm Djingov, Gouginski, Kuytchukov & Velichkov, heading the IP Law Practice and co-heading the Employment Law Practice Groups of the firm. Her areas of expertise also include contract law, pharma regulatory, M&A and general corporate law.

Kalina has provided expert, practical and tailored legal advice to some of DGKV’s major international and domestic corporate clients, helping them achieve their management and business goals in a manner consistent with local employment laws and regulations. She has assisted clients with a full range of employment & social security matter, namely: drafting of individual agreements and internal regulations; compliance advice in relation to group share option and incentive plans, negotiating collective labour agreements, structuring and implementation of individual and collective dismissals and assistance in employment related litigation. She was involved with the development of the first personnel leasing arrangement in Bulgaria.

Kalina is a regular contributor to a number of international publications regarding Bulgaria labour and social security laws and practice.
