Helene Amsinck has extensive experience in advising employers on the diverse challenges that arise concerning employees – not only for the purposes of compliance and dispute prevention, but also to preserve consistency with company values and commercial objectives. Helene became a partner in 1998 and has since led our employment law group.

Helene has particular expertise in the employee-related aspects of transactions, outsourcing and procurement (including the complex rules of the Danish Transfer of Undertakings Act), and in reorganisation and collective redundancies. Furthermore, she advises on the hiring, remuneration and dismissal of managers, and on the special challenges surrounding international employment and the legal position of independent consultants. Her areas of expertise also include the interpretation of collective agreements and disputes regarding the entry into or renewal of collective agreements.

Alongside her work in employment law, Helene has considerable experience in advising general practitioners and medical specialists on the buying and selling of medical practices, the conclusion and dissolution of partnerships and shared facilities arrangements, and on the special collective agreements applicable to GPs and medical specialists.

Cooperating closely with her team, Helene strives to deliver solutions that are specific and value-adding for each client within their commercial framework. At the same time, she takes pride in satisfying clients’ expectations regarding availability and flexibility, ensuring thorough legal advice even where deadlines are tight. Frequently working with foreign lawyers on sizeable projects, Helene has also developed an impressive international network.
