Effie is a partner at the Greek firm Kyriakides Georgopoulos Law Firm and heads its employment law department. She is an active labour law litigation lawyer and her experience enables her to deal with complex labour issues in connection with restructuring, mergers and acquisitions, transfer of undertakings, close down and redundancies, implementation of restrictive covenants, pension plans, employee benefits, as well as data protection and immigration law issues.

Effie has been admitted to the Athens Bar in 1986 and has studied law at the University of Aix – Marseille (Maîtrise en Droit) and at King’s College, University of London (LL.M).

She is a member of European Employment Lawyers Association, a member of the Board of National Correspondents of the European Employment Law Cases (EELC), member of the International Bar Association and the Greek member of the Employment Law Alliance.
