Dr Abi Adams is an Associate Professor-elect in Economics at New College, Oxford, and the Cowles Foundation Postdoctoral Fellow at Yale University (2015/16). She read Politics, Philosophy, and Economics at Oxford, and has previously worked as a Junior Research Fellow in Economics at Merton College, Oxford; as a Research Associate at the Institute for Fiscal Studies, London; and as an economics consultant to President Obama’s 2012 re-election campaign.
Abi’s work brings economic models of decision-making to data in a flexible, yet theory–consistent, manner. Recent publications include articles in the American Economic Review (2014) and the Economic Journal (2015), as well as a forthcoming textbook with Oxford University Press. Her research has been featured in a wide range of media outlets, including the Financial Times, The Guardian, and Bloomberg.
