Yvonne advises on all aspects of labour and employment law with a special focus on discrimination law, industrial relations, restrictive covenants, and health and safety law. Other areas of special expertise are bonus and incentives and collective bargaining. She acts exclusively for the employer/management side.

She heads Norrbom Vinding’s discrimination practice and is a leading expert in Denmark on discrimination law and the author of a book on the subject.

Yvonne is a Co-Chair of the Ius Laboris International Practice Group on Discrimination and former Vice-Chair of the Danish Association of Labour and Employment Lawyers. She is also a member of the expert panel on employment law under the Council of the Danish Bar and Law Society.

She is a frequent speaker at conferences, nationally as well as internationally, and engages in teaching activities in various contexts, including the Danish Lawyers’ Association and the Danish Centre for Legal Training (JUC).

Examples of Yvonne’s recent work include successfully representing clients in several Supreme Court cases about discrimination. In addition, she is currently representing the employer side in the precedent-setting high profile case pending before the Court of Justice of the European Union (Karsten Kaltoft vs. Billund Kommune, C-354/13) concerning the issue of whether obesity is covered by EU law, including the issue of whether obesity can be deemed to be a disability within the meaning of Directive 2000/78/EC.

Yvonne was granted the right of audience before the Danish Supreme Court in 2005.
